Geoff Ellender 🌺

We have had some very sad news overnight, with the death of one of our members - Geoff Ellender.

Geoff was a lovely man, quiet and unassuming, and a keen member of our swindle group.

We have received the following information from his wife Bev, who is also a keen golfer and a member of the Ladies Section.

Geoff was diagnosed in July with lung cancer, but after having complications with the treatment this last month, eventually lost the fight.

She said her heart is broken and she is still in shock with the speed of everything.

Geoffs funeral is on Tuesday 8th November, 2pm at Colchester Crematorium, Mersea Road, Colchester and afterwards at The Chalet, Brick House Road, Tollshunt Major, CM9 8JX and afterwards at The Chalet, Brick House Road, Tolleshunt Major CM9 8JX.
